A new Rieussec

Over the weekend, Chateau Rieussec announced that the wine world was going to be surprised and it did not disappoint! 

Ch. Rieussec announced a brand new packaging, along with a new communication for the Rieussec brand. A lovely bottle made of 95% recycled glass, with a reusable cork and a modern, eye-catching logo that will be filled with the 2019 vintage this year. It is certainly a bottle that will stand out from its other Sauternes neighbours and which has a clear vision : to make Rieussec an everyday drinking wine, and to avoid the old image of a Christmas or dessert wine that people open once a year. 

The official release is Tuesday 19th October when people will be able to purchase a bottle of this new Rieussec. 
This decision comes along with the project of having a fully organic vineyard starting this year, like its brother l’Evangile in Pomerol, and Lafite Rothschild in the years to come.
