Now in its sixth edition, the annual FT 1000 report is published by the Financial Times in partnership with research company Statista. The report ranks Europe’s most promising companies exhibiting the highest levels of absolute growth and compound annual growth rate (CAGR) between 2017 and 2020.
Placed 346 overall, Cru Wine also ranked 3rd out of 20 food and beverage providers in Europe and 65th out of 155 UK-based companies listed in the FT 1000. The company is also amongst a small number who have won a place on the ranking in three consecutive years.
Gregory Swartberg, founder and CEO, said: “I am thrilled to hear that we have been selected among the 1000 fastest growing companies in Europe for a third year in a row. The last two years have been difficult as we all know, and this recognition is thanks to the incredible team we have here at Cru Wine, who managed to pull off such a great year”.
With an absolute growth rate of 465.78% between 2017 and 2020, this acknowledgement follows another strong year for the company. Despite Covid-19 and Brexit restrictions Cru Wine has continued to grow and stepped up its digital development over the past twelve months. The company has invested in its employees, welcoming six new faces to the offices across all departments and is increasing the breadth of services on offer to its clients.
