Our new Cru Wine Club page is live so feel free to have a look. We offer three different subscription levels, from the Cru Around The World selection which will offer hidden gems and staff picks from both the New and Old World regions, to Cru Best of Europe that will showcase Old World producers and their amazing wines, to finally the Cru Classics, a monthly case of well-established, superb wines that you will certainly enjoy.

 October Wine Investment Insights –
During this financial and health crisis, safe investment opportunities were tricky, if not impossible to find. As the Financial Times and Liv-Ex wrote this month, wine has been a safe placement value, with Liv-Ex 100 index rising 1.3% this year compared to the S&P 500 dropping significantly.
The value of the pound dropping by more than 5% can also be a positive indicator for wine investments stored in British warehouses as foreign buyers will be more interested to buy from UK stock.
Liv-Ex also suggests that new wine regions, such as the US Napa Valley , Champagne and Italian gems on the rise, bear great investment opportunities.

Alex Weller:
After studying international trade and global markets at university, Alex decided to join one of London’s largest fine wine merchants. While looking after clients all around the globe, he quickly developed a passion for the wines of the Cote d’Or. Outside the office Alex can often be found on a bike, in a kitchen or studying maps of Vosne Romanee.

Enzo will be in charge of developing Cru Wine Limited’s digital sales. Curious about wine since about 8 years old, he gained his experience through working for wine merchants both in Bordeaux and London.
