Description
Founded in 1731 in Beaune by Michel Bouchard, Bouchard Père & Fils, is one of the oldest wine estates in Burgundy, perpetuating tradition for nearly three centuries and nine generations. According to the legend, the Lord of Montrachet shared his land out between his two sons. One became a Chevalier during the crusades, giving his name to this Grand Cru. The Chevalier-Montrachet has a distinguished bouquet, with floral and fruit aromas as well as a toasted note. Complex and rich, without the least heaviness, this wine is elegance itself. Very good ageing potential.
