Attractively fragrant and fresh aromas with a vibrant core of lemons and peaches that flow to the succulent palate. Dry, smooth finish. Drink now. Screw cap.

Sometimes the admission policy of the VDP can appear a little opaque, which certainly applies in the case of Jochen Dreissigacker. It’s certainly not the fault of his Bechtheim Riesling, which impresses right from the start with an expressive fragrance of fruit basket and fumy minerality. On the palate the combination of crunchy apple, stone fruit and salty substance cannot be faulted for impact either. Maybe a little diplomacy could resolve the VDP quandary? (MS)
