Description
Founded in the mid-16th century, Clos du Mont Olivet is now owned by the Sabon Family, an ancient and well-regarded name in the region. The estate comprises of over 20 hectares split into 15 parcels and possesses a range of terroirs, from the classic galets-roules, to sandy, clay soils. This full spectrum allows them to work with all nine permitted black grape varieties, with Grenache taking centre stage. Based around sustainable viticulture practices, the wines are elegant, aromatic, and long lived. They are a perfect representation of the Southern Rhone, allowing the grapes to express themselves to the fullest.
