Description
Thierry Manoncourt, the late owner of Figeac, purchased this small property in 1942. The tiny vineyard covers less than one hectare and is planted 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. Millery embodies the essence of finesse and elegance in Saint-Émilion. There are less than 4,000 bottles made per year, which is always snapped up quickly. A wine of notable precision, Millery is silky, perfumed and exquisitely beautiful, with lovely energy and tension underpinning the fruit. Hints of spice, blood orange, mint, lavender and dried flowers are laced into the finish.
