Description
Cayuse En Chamberlin Syrah is a concentrated red wine with intense aromas of generous and juicy black fruits, spicy notes and hints of violets and lavender. On the palate it is full-bodied, complex and elegant. It has a firm structure with fine-grained tannins, medium minerality and a long and impressive finish.
French hunters planted vines in the Walla Walla Valley in the mid-19th century, in the state of Washington. Christophe Baron, young winemaker from Champagne chose this valley to start his own domain in 1997. It now runs over 18 hectares and is planted with several grape varieties, with a majority of Syrah and Grenache. Christophe Baron has cultivated the vineyard according to biodynamic principles since 2002.
