Barrel sample. Evidence of the 60% new oak in the sweet toasty oak aromas. Bright dark fruit, sweet but not overripe damson, quite dense, and very fine-grained tannins – silky but you can still feel the grain at this stage. Fresh acidity – cooler vintage. (JH)

A wine with lots of dried fruit, flower and smoky undertones. Raisin too. Full-bodied round and chewy. Drink now.

Storage charges will apply if you choose to store your wines with us. Duty and VAT will be applied if you choose to have your wines delivered to a UK address.
