Description

Fontaine-Gagnard – the Domaine was born in 1985 from the vineyard holdings of the Gagnard-Delagrange estate which was divided between two daughters when they married. Richard Fontaine, a former air force engineer, married Laurence, the daughter of Jacques and Marie-Josephe Gagnard, and their extremely capable daughter Céline is now working alongside them. Farming 12 hectares of vines mostly in Chassagne-Montrachet, with some parcels in Volnay and Pommard, Domaine Fontaine-Gagnard’s excellent reputation is based upon the especially high quality of its white wines.
