Description

Located in the Margaux appellation of the Bordeaux region, Château Giscours is a Troisième Grand Cru Classé. The component of its terroir, a mild climate and barrel ageing hold the secrets of this fine wine. Cabernet Sauvignon represents 60% of the vineyard and Merlot 32%, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc compose the remaining 8%. The Château Giscours is an elegant, well-structured wine with bright aromas and luscious, silky tannins. To the Château, wine does not stand alone, but is a representation of its environment. Benefitting from Margaux’s excellent terroir, Château Giscours vineyard’s sit above dry, gravelly hilltops.
