Description

With nearly 235 hectares of vineyard, Inglenook represents a huge estate that has been crafting beautiful wines for over a decade. Reflecting the diversity of Napa Valley, its terroir is complex, comprising a mixture of loamy, well-drained soils at its rear, and finer soils at its front.

Acquired by Francis and Eleanor Coppola in 1975, this renowned Californian winery located in AVA Rutherford produces wines amongst the most elegant of the region thanks to the work of winemaker Philippe Bascaules of Château Margaux.

The Blancaneaux is one of two white wines made by the Rutherford estate, and saw its first vintage in 1999. Since 2003 the wine has comprised Viognier, Roussanne and Marsanne. Like the estate’s other wines, Blancaneaux doesn’t lean on the personality of any singular grape, but instead acts as a reflection of the Rutherford estate’s varied terroir. Expect a dense and full-bodied palate full of aromatics.
