Description
Located in AOC Pauillac, Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste is a 55-hectare vineyard estate classified 5th Grand Cru in the official classification of Bordeaux wines of 1855. It was historically created by an adviser of the Bordeaux Parliament at the beginning of the 18th century but the current château dates back to 1850. It joined the Borie family in 1978. It is undoubtedly one of the best terroirs in Pauillac and one of the most regular classified growths at the highest level. Lacoste Borie is the second wine of the famous Château Grand Puy Lacoste. This vineyard planted with 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc, produces a wine reflecting this beautiful terroir.
