Description
The Clos Lanson vineyard dates back to the 18th century and is located in the heart of Reims. It is the only remaining vineyard within the city’s historic walls and was rejuvenated by the House in 2006, when the first single vineyard wine from the plot was produced. The Chardonnay vines planted here perfectly suit the chalky soils that they are biodynamically farmed upon. This truly is a special Blanc de Blancs which is tantamount to any prestige cuvées from the vintage. The 12 years the Champagne spent on its lees has provided remarkable texture and complexity, whilst the bright acidity ensures the palate is seamlessly balanced.
