Dark and smudgy colour. Savoury, spiced nose with some toasty notes. Grainy but fine tannins. Somehow abrupt on the palate though theres richness underneath. (JH)

Tasted blind. Luscious, inky, nice blend of ripe fruit and St-Julien structure. At a good point now. Polished.
