Description
On the background of the vineyards of Il Marroneto, the towers of the city of Siena are visible, and they frame a unique landscape and one of the most important places in the Montalcino region. Everything started with Giuseppe Mori in 1974, when he planted the first three thousand metres of vineyards, which doubled by 1979, and reached nine thousands by 1984. Nowadays, it is Alessandro Mori who continues the work started by his father more than forty years ago. Amongst the rows, the vines are minimally treated, avoiding intensive production, every plant has 3,6 square metres to root properly. The management of the vineyards is in the complete harmony with the environment, nature, ecosystem and biodiversity, following the rhythms and changing of the seasons. The main objective of the firm is to manufacture wines that are of the highest quality.
