In my view the 2006 is the greatest Masseto ever made, and the wine certainly lives up to those expectations tonight. It is a marvelously balanced wine with well-articulated aromatics and generous fruit, all supported by powerful yet sophisticated tannins. This is a fabulous showing. Anticipated maturity: 2016-2031.

Still a deep crimson. Very sweet start. Round and diffuse. Opulent with the sort of biodynamic wildness. There is spice and power here but its not simple sweetness. Impressive.

Storage charges will apply if you choose to store your wines with us. Duty and VAT will be applied if you choose to have your wines delivered to a UK address. If you live outside of mainland UK additional delivery charges will occur.
