Description
The estate Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is a prestigious French wine estate. It is located in the vineyards of Bordeaux, in the commune of Pauillac in the Gironde. It produces red wines in AOC Pauillac appellation. The estate produces a first wine named Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande and a second wine called Réserve de la Comtesse. The estate was included in the official classification of the great growths of the Médoc in 1855 as a Pauillac Second Cru Classé. The grape varieties are Merlot noir (32%), Petit Verdot noir (3%), Cabernet-Franc noir (4%) and Cabernet-Sauvignon noir (61%).
