Very layered and tannic with dried-strawberry, cedar and chocolate aromas and flavors. It’s full-bodied, yet so balanced and pretty. Tight, yet creamy texture, making it so approachable. Better than the 2015. Better after 2023.

Barolo. Tasted blind. Just mid ruby. Perfumed raspberry and cherry nose with soft, fragrant spice underneath. Proper concentration on the palate, but the fruit is not yet open. Lots of coating tannins and balancing acidity. Embryonic and solid and in need of much more time. (WS)

Cru Wine stores all its wines in-bond with LCB Eton Park. Wines purchased to be stored In-Bond (IB) or En Primeur are not available for immediate delivery. Storage charges will apply if you choose to store your wines with us. Duty and VAT will be applied if you choose to have your wines delivered to a UK address. If you live outside of mainland UK additional delivery charges will occur.
