Description
Chateau Valdicava is a 28 hectare estate situated in Montalcino, Tuscany. The estate focuses on producing Sangiovese, producing two blends anually a Rosso di Montalcino and a Brunello di Montalcino – and, in the very best years, the single-vineyard Madonna Del Piano. The 2001 Brunello di Montalcino Madonna Del Piano was awarded a perfect 100 points from Wine Spectator, while the 2010 release received 99 points from American wine critic, James Suckling.
