Description
YJAR is a single vineyard cuvée from the foothills of the Sierra de Toloño in Rioja Alavesa. Described as a “cult wine in the making” by Jane Anson, YJAR’s small production, winemaking clout, and consistent slew of high scores has contributed towards its collectability.
Trained in Bordeaux, Rodriguez is one of Spain’s most celebrated winemakers, showing the unique terroir of Rioja, without veiling the grape’s characteristics behind vast amounts of American oak.
