London, UK – Cru Wine Limited has been honoured with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade. Cru Wine is a wine & spirits merchant offering expert advice in both wines for investment and drinking. The company wins the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade for Outstanding Short Term Growth in overseas sales over the last three years.
Cru Wine is one of 220 organisations nationally to be recognised with a prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise. Announced today (Tuesday 21 April), Cru Wine has been recognised for its excellence in international trade.
Employing 10 people, Cru Wine Ltd was set up in 2013 and now has offices in London, Hong Kong and Geneva. Cru Wine Ltd started initially selling the most prestigious fine wine to investors and has since diversified into trading with businesses, selling wines online through it’s e-shop and most recently started a monthly wine delivery plan for its private clients. The various different revenue streams has been part of the reason for the company’s recent success. The most important part has been the ability to develop a strong and passionate team.
Gregory Swartberg, the company founder and CEO says that “The coming months will be difficult, but we are confident that we will be able to achieve our targets. It’s the beauty of having a good team and being diversified”
Now in its 54th year, the Queen’s Award for Enterprise are the most prestigious business awards in the country, with winning businesses able to use the esteemed Queen’s Award for Enterprise emblem for the next five years.
Cru Wine Limited will celebrate its award during a royal reception for Queen’s Awards winners in the summer.
