Fantastic Champagne from Monmarthe”s oldest fields Mont Joyeux and Champ Richard. Full-bodied taste of tropical fruit and granny smith apple at the end. The Monmarthe family have been living in Ludes since 1737 and have always been involved in agriculture vineyards. in 1930 the family decided to launch their own champagne and have continue to grow and develop over the decades. The major part of the domain of Monmarthe family is located in Ludes ( 15 ha ), classified village (Premier Cru) in the heart of the “Montagne de Reims”. The vineyards are divided in 22 plots with 35% Pinot Noir, 35% Pinot Noir and 30% Meunier. The whole domain belongs to the Monmarthe family, six generations have been working in the preservation of this terroir.
