David joined Cru with over a decade of experience managing operations. Originally from the US, David spent years as a professional musician in Nashville before relocating to Seattle where he fully pivoted to the wine and spirits industry, working at distilleries, distributors, and drinks startups. Since landing in London a few years ago, he’s worked on innovating operational processes and technologies for growing wine businesses. While his start was in single malts, he developed a love of wine while living in the Pacific Northwest, particularly Pinot Noir from Oregon’s Willamette Valley. These days he will never turn down a Cabernet Franc from Loire, a bottle of Barolo, or a chance to pick up his guitars on the weekend.
