CRU WINE TEAM

Before joining Cru Wine, Stephane was buying and selling wines, visiting growers and managing the contents of a digital app, all to sell wine to private individuals. His wine journey started in 1993 at Vinexpo, whilst working for a French wine magazine. He drank a 1983 Clos de Vougeot and that was the defining moment when his perception of wine changed, all the way to studying WSET to Diploma level. He’s thoroughly enjoying being part of a dynamic team and contributing to the performance of the company through shrewd purchasing. There’s not enough space here to list his favourite wines but if he had to chose (if!), it would be a Vincent Dauvissat Chablis 1er Cru La Forest. Outside of work, his “me time” is spent gardening in his allotment, beekeeping and the occasional run, when being stung!
