This month, the eagerly awaited results of the St-Emilion 2022 classification were announced, and like many fine wine aficionados and devotees, we were in suspense on what the latest results entailed.

As anticipated, Château Figeac has fittingly been promoted to ‘Premier Grand Cru Classé A’ status, a move which saw the highly esteemed estate the only Château to achieve such acclaim. Figeac, family run since 1892, has openly welcomed the recognition as receiving cult like status was a shared vision between Marie-France Manoncourt and her late husband, Thierry Manoncourt – a testament to the hard work both in and out of the vineyard accomplished over many years.
