Querciabella is a Tuscan 74 hectare wine estate producing wines in both the Chianti Classico zone and in Maremma Toscana. Five wines are produced includiong Batàr, a barrel-fermented and -matured blend of Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay; Camartina, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese; the Palafreno Merlot, and Querciabella, a Chianti Classico from 100 percent Sangiovese, which may be labeled as a riserva in some vintages. No animal-derived products are used in the vineyards or winery, making the wines suitable for vegans.

Much deeper gold. Really quite rich and very pure. Excellent acidity – just a tiny sourness but thats not a negative thing! No obvious oak. Attractive savoury quality – still a little chewiness on the end.

This is a rich and layered white with cooked-apple, honey, lime and light vanilla character that flows across the palate. Medium to full body. Flavorful finish. Excellent depth and beauty. Blend of pinot bianco and chardonnay. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink now.
