Robert M. Parker, Jr.
From an historic estate in Pomerol dating back to the 18th century, the 2012 Beauregard (70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc) is a successful effort. The wine is dense ruby/purple and shows loads of licorice, blackcurrant and black cherry in a dense, medium to full-bodied very pure, rich style. This is somewhat of a sleeper of the vintage in Pomerol and very noteworthy. This should drink well for 10-15 years.

So beautiful and balanced with ultra-fine tannins and berry, hazelnut and chocolate character. Medium to full body, fine tannins and a fresh finish. Very fine indeed. Better in 2016.
