Tasted blind. Deep garnet with brick rim. Minty senescent red fruits though the fruit is still sweet and spicy. Massive grip on the palate, thick and chewy and only just fresh enough. I wonder if the tannins will ever resolve? (JH)

Nicely extracted berry fruit nose with some charm. Open and smooth on the palate, supple and quite rich fruit and a nice touch of spice. Very rich and voluptuous, concentrated and dramatic, this is a modern-style St-Émilion that delivers the goods.
