CRITIC REVIEWS
Stephen Brook
This has always been a modest wine, conscious of the risks of over-extracting and trying to find a weight of fruit that simply wasnt present in the vintage. There are delicate raspberry aromas of considerable charm and an immediately accessible palate, fluid and upfront, with delicacy and flair rather than structure or depth. Its well balanced, quite long, but not for much more cellaring.

Medium garnet colored, the 2013 Cheval Blanc has a captivating, open-knit nose of roses and lilacs over a core of fragrant soil, charcuterie, kirsch and raspberry preserves plus a waft of stewed plums. Medium-bodied, chewy and with tons of spring to its step, the palate is delicately fruited with an earthy finish.
