Cask sample. Iron-tinged nose with earthy notes, plum and roasted coffee. The palate is soft and the tannins are rounded and integrating well. Nice bloody notes and a lovely fruit profile. Nice salty twang on the finish. Should provide much pleasure in the short to medium term. (AC)

The 2021 Corbin is a pretty, fine-boned wine, offering up beautifully pure aromas of red berries, cherries and licorice, followed by a medium to full-bodied palate with an ample core of fruit, polished tannins and lively acids. Seamless and succulent, its a Merlot-dominant blend that was cropped at 30 hectoliters per hectare.
