Description

The Gros family is a prominent family in the village of Vosne-Romanée with links to winemaking that go back to the early 1800s. The Anne-Francoise Gros vineyards are located around Vosne Romanee. The Gevrey-Chambertin has an impressive nose of black bramble and hedgerow fruit fused with subtle spice. Rich, round and ripe on the palate with good structure balanced by the silky, smooth tannins and core of further dark black fruits and black pepper spice. Wonderful purity and precision.
