Jancis Robinson
Very dark crimson. Very little nose. Then sweet and jewelly with black cherries on the palate but a little simple. Comes to a bit of a juddering halt. Perhaps this cask sample tasted in London has lost a bit of life?
Case Format: 6x75cl
The domain covers 18 ha of Chateauneuf du Pape. The 11 parcels are spread around the appellation and gives different wines, which after the blending result in a very distinct wine, a true old-fashioned Chateauneuf du Pape. In the vineyards organic methods are used.
