Cask sample. Savoury nose with a suggestion of lacy texture. Quite delicate and seductive, not quite frivolous but not as intense as some Faiveley grands crus.

For more than seven generations, the Faiveley family has played a vital role in Burgundy’s winemaking legacy. Since 1825, this family-owned domaine has been synonymous with outstanding wines that capture the essence of Burgundy.
Pierre Faiveley, the domain’s founder in Nuits-Saint-Georges, ignited the family’s winemaking journey with a profound passion for Burgundy’s terroir. This commitment to excellence has become a lasting legacy, carried on by each succeeding generation of Faiveley winemakers. In 2005, Erwan Faiveley assumed leadership from his father, François, with his sister, Eve, joining in 2014. Fuelled by passion and ambition, they are dedicated to upholding the domaine’s rich heritage for future generations. Jérôme Flous, the Chief Winemaker since 2007, infuses the domaine with his profound love for the Fine Wines of Burgundy. His commitment to perfection extends from vineyard work to the meticulous bottling of each wine in the domaine’s portfolio.
