More poise and restraint and deliciously savoury. There is a depth of fruit, but no excess sweetness. Blood orange again. Evident but discreet firmness in the tannins behind. Very fine indeed. I could drink these all day. (MH)

Impressively dense and concentrated, with deep cassis fruit, mineral notes and a bit of well-integrated spice accent, within a firm yet silky structure. Pascal Mugneret assembles 0.75ha of grapes from the village lieux-dit Le Pré de la Folie with fruit from La Colombière and Aux Communes. These last two were planted between the 1920s and 1950s.
