There is no doubt that this a truly bespoke, artisanal whisky which has been made with great care and attention from start to finish. The 1794 was matured in lively, virgin oak, imparting flavours and aromas of cinnamon, muscovado sugar, fresh honey and thyme.
Arbikie is new microdistillery committed to creating a field-to-bottle supply chain with the production of its whisky, it also created the first ever Scotch rye whisky (which by Scottish legal standards must be labelled as ‘grain whisky’) since the 19th century.
