Description

The blend includes Narvaux , young vines of Luchets, Clos de la Baronne, Crotots, Gruyaches and for the first time Sous Lavelle. Pale in colour with a lime tint. This Meursault starts with a tightly knit if restrained nose, before there erupts an explosion of power, with heat and some liquorice notes. There is still good length, but the heat takes the foreground. Jean-Marc Roulot has been in charge since 1989, when he decided to stay with the vines rather than to pursue a full time career as an actor on stage and film, subsequently bringing a fine domaine up into the very top league.
