Description
The GERIN family has established itself in the heart of the Côte-Rôtie vineyard, in the village of Ampuis, for six generations. This vineyard, located 30km south of Lyon, is the northernmost appellation of the Rhône Valley and also one of the smallest in the region. The influence of the Mediterranean and the continental climates give wines that are tannic, powerful, silky, and elegant at the same time . The king grape variety Syrah is sometimes mixed with Viognier to bring more finesse to the wines.
