Tasted blind. Intense, well balanced and an interesting nose. Lots of sweetness, but freshness too, in this extremely youthful wine. Difficult to assess at this stage.

Unwinding in the glass with aromas of dark berries, orange rind and rich spices, framed by a deft application of cedary new oak, the 2019 La Chapelle de la Mission Haut-Brion is medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with lively acids and a more tightly wound profile than its counterpart across the street.
