The Grand Vin 2021 Château LEglise Clinet checks in as 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc thats resting in 75% new French oak and hit 14% alcohol. Its another medium-bodied, fresh, elegant, incredibly classic wine from this great estate that has pure dark, almost blue fruits, loads of floral and leafy herb nuances, integrated acidity, and beautiful tannins. I love its purity, and while it shines for its elegance and purity, it has good density.

85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc. Cask sample. Busy and complex with dark fruit, camphor and spice notes. Juicy fruit and a real concentration of velvety tannin. Honed and long with plenty of freshness. Well constructed from beginning to end. (JL)
