Pavillon Rouge is the second vin of the famous Château Margaux, which is a winery in the Margaux appellation of the Bordeaux region. It is classified as one of the five Premier Grand Cru Classé. Inheriting the estate from her father, Margaux has been run by Corinne Mentzelopoulos since 1980, one of the leading ladies and highly respected vignerons of the region. Today, it is not uncommon to see son, Alexis Leven-Mentzelopoulo, front and centre in the day-to-day operations at the estate as he takes a more “prominent role in the running of the First Growth”. The estate is considered one of the most beautiful château in Bordeaux.
