Ridge, Lytton Estate Petite Sirah, Dry Creek Valley 2019

From the rugged terrain of Dry Creek Valley, Ridge Vineyards presents the Lytton Estate Petite Syrah, a wine that marries the bold expression of Petite Syrah with the terroir-driven finesse that is characteristic of this winery. Sourced from the historic Lytton Springs vineyard, this wine is a testament to the unique microclimate and ancient vines that define the Dry Creek Valley.

The Petite Syrah grapes, grown on well-drained, rocky soils, are hand harvested. After fermentation, the wine is aged in a combination of American and French oak barrels for 12 to 18 months.

Complete with an inky, deep purple hue, this spectacular wine offers a rich bouquet of blackberries, blueberries, and a hint of dark chocolate. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with robust tannins, vibrant acidity, and flavours of ripe plums, black pepper, and a touch of vanilla from the oak.
