CRITIC REVIEWS
James Suckling
A perfumed and fresh Barolo with orange peel, lavender, and white lilac character. Some nutmeg. Full-bodied with chewy tannins yet they are fine and polished. Plenty of reserved character at the finish. Highlights the excellence of the vintage. Drink after 2026.

Monforte d’Alba. Mid ruby. The firm, concentrated nose has quite enough ballast to distract from the (not insubstantial) tannic charge. Very long and ambitious but even more complex than its stablemates.
