Description

SM allies the best of Northern and Southern Rhone blend in an unreverencious but outstanding blend of 50% old vine Syrah from Northern Rhone and 50% Grenache from Southern Rhone. This wine is cherry red, which reveals notes of dried meat and raspberry on its nose, as well as a touch of pepper. The palate offers good acidity with good purity and ends with an excellent finish.

Xavier Vignon is one of the most renowned oenologists in the Rhone wine region. He has worked as a consultant to more than 200 wineries in the Rhone Valley and has gained a worldwide reputation for his expertise and collaboration on the best wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. He started his own production in 2002, and the winery is now known for wines of exceptional quality and Xavier Vignon’s own style of wine, both of which make him a successful winemaker.
