Crystallum is a family-run and privately-owned winery based in the Walker Bay region of South Africa. The Agnes Chardonnay is named after Agnes Floyd, who arrived in South Africa at the tender age of 14. Sturdy in build and character, she is reputed to be the first lady to have had a driver’s licence in the city of Cape Town. This multiple vineyard blend is made to reflect the resilience and strength of Agnes, with each vineyard contributing complexity to the final wine. The bouquet is perfumed and complex with quince and white peach accompanied by lemongrass and floral tones. The palate is zesty with strong lemon and lime flavours coating a textured, fleshy core.

Cru Wine stores all its wines in-bond with LCB Eton Park. Wines purchased to be stored In-Bond (IB) or En Primeur are not available for immediate delivery. Storage charges will apply if you choose to store your wines with us. Duty and VAT will be applied if you choose to have your wines delivered to a UK address. If you live outside of mainland UK additional delivery charges will occur.
