Dried strawberries, frozen raspberries, tee tree oil, hibiscus and fruit tea come to the surface. The medium-bodied palate boasts finely grained tannins and no shortage of mouthwatering acidity. Drink now or hold.

Treiso. Tasted blind. Concentrated youthful ruby. Deep, dark, spicy fruit nose. Full, dark-fruit palate with plenty of stalky, chewy tannins but there is plenty of fruit to balance it out. Quite a powerfully structured and concentrated wine that needs ageing. (WS)
