Cuvelier & Fils, Blanc, Bordeaux 2020

Henri Cuvelier founded a wine trading company in Haubourdin, Northern France in 1804, but it is only in 1903 that the Cuvelier family finally purchased Chateau Le Crock, Cru Bourgeois from Stain-Estephe, nestled between Chateau Cos d’Estournel and Chateau Montrose, while other Chateaux were acquired in 1920. In 1946, Max Cuvelier founded a trading company in Bordeaux, in order to be closer to the vineyards and to facilitate purchasing and distribution. Cuvelier & Fils Blanc has citrus aromas of apple, pear and grassy fumes and floral notes. On the palate, it’s dry and crispy with light tannins and high acidity. There is a beautiful and smooth texture with a lingering finish. Flavors of lemongrass and orange peel provide a refreshing mouthfeel.
