This comes from the 0.28ha parcel in Les Champs Traversins, where the vines are one century old. The fruit is fermented with 40% whole clusters, and is aged in cask (60% new). This has a lush, ripe blackcurrant and plum fruit, with accents of spice, leather and earth. The texture is dense and velvety, with plenty of density and no want of power. Elegant but still powerful.
