Description
The Domaine Eleni et Édouard Vocoret is barely five vintages old. In 2013, the couple decided to start their own micro-winery. Edouard’s father and grandfather offered them the opportunity to rent five hectares in Chablis: Chablis 1er Cru “Les Butteaux”, Chablis “Le Bas de Chapelot”, Chablis “Les Pargues” and Chablis “Boucheran”. They try to work as sustainable as possible, which means that they are doing most of the work in the vineyard by hand and are working a lot with the soil, which is for them the base to do fine wine and to express the terroir. They do not use any herbicides and spray organically.
The Chablis Boucheran has a refined bouquet of lovely yellow flower, chamomile and light earthy scents. The palate is well balanced with a lilting opening and passion fruit and pineapple flavours. Refined and open towards the finish.
