The 2020 Le Volte dellOrnellaia is fresh and floral with red flowers, crushed rock, and red and black fruit as well as cherry pie and cinnamon. With a large proportion of Merlot, and aged in concrete and used barrels, it is full bodied but lifted and bright, with poppy red and black fruit, red plum, dusty earth, and fresh herbs that offer a pleasant touch of amaro. It is a fresh and spritely red for drinking over the next 5-7 years.

Attractive aromas of blue fruit with slate and black-licorice character. It’s full-bodied with juicy fruit and an orange-peel undertone. Wet earth, some fresh sage and rosemary, too. I like the Mediterranean flavors in this vintage. Drink or hold.

Storage charges will apply if you choose to store your wines with us. Duty and VAT will be applied if you choose to have your wines delivered to a UK address. If you live outside of mainland UK additional delivery charges will occur.
